Classical pilates is very different from the average pilates class you might find in LA. It’s more precise, focused on targeting smaller muscle groups to build around the bones. Classical pilates is mindfulness; it’s very in tune with breathing techniques and building posture. Instead of just getting a workout, you are stabilizing the body so that it can get stronger. I was drawn to this version of pilates because it merges both physical and emotional wellness in its practice.

I’ve studied with some of the best holistic mentors in the world. Through learning the straight roots of classical pilates, I have been able to integrate my own techniques into my practice, always with a focus on mindfulness, meditation, emotional awareness, and physical therapy. I believe that achieving self-awareness takes discipline and dedication but it can be done with the right amount of support. I will provide you with the resources and strategies that have helped me and so many others strengthen the body and nurture the mind.
